As we headed out in the morning on the boat we had set a few traps with the goal of collecting a few more specimens of Cindy's study fish, the striped trumpeter. We had a plan to celebrate the end of this study by cooking up some trumpeters. One trap caught about 30 trumpies. We picked the four largest ones, and brought them in. Greg, clean and pan fried them (with butter, garlic, lemon and salt and pepper). Delish! A great way to finish off fish research project.
